From our franchisees and team members to buyers and sellers, limiting face-to-face interactions in favour of remote support is a top priority.

Remote Onboarding

We’ve adopted ways to eliminate face-to-face interactions between us and our users. Our services are now able to be delivered and supported virtually by way of telephone, chat or video while our agreements are delivered and executed by e-signature. Our mix of online tools and technologies make it so sellers can easily advertise their properties without ever needing to meet with us in person.

Virtual Showings

With robust property details, video/virtual tour options and low or no-contact professional photography, properties are show-ready online 24/7.

Service Enhancements

We continue to make key operational changes to ensure that our services can be delivered in a way that limits health risks and unnecessary user friction. We've also updated the questions asked from our answering service to help ensure that the guidelines and best practices outlined by government and health officials are always top of mind. Our affiliate law firms are also responding with innovative ways to promote physical distancing while others have gone completely “no-contact” by conducting Virtual Signings.

Interacting Safely

We know that some areas of the country have stricter measures in place than others, and that ultimately, interactions will happen in person when deemed necessary by private buyers and sellers. Here are some best practices to navigate those interactions as safely and practically as possible.

Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands for at least 30 seconds before and after any interaction.

Disinfect Surfaces

All surfaces should be wiped down, including doorknobs before and after any interaction, with gloves encouraged.

Limit Contact

Politely ask that the buyers don’t touch anything. If they want to see a closet or cupboard opened, the seller can do this for them.

Avoid Touching Your Face

Don't touch your face without first ensuring your hands are clean.

Say Hello

Greet at the door and then allow a walk through the property while remaining at a distance to answer questions

Reschedule If Needed

If you aren't feeling well or have recently travelled, defer the viewing to a later date and send a video tour instead.
